Garage doors are more important than you may think! Hurricane garage doors are a key component to protecting the structural integity of your home during hurricanes.  All doors sold by Lester’s meet Florida windload standards, holding up to 130 mph winds and still work!

A compromised garage door can lead to major home damage. In many hurricanes, garage door failure was the main cause for the whole roof to blow off! Protect your home with a stronger Lester's garage door.

It is required by the State of Florida that all overhead doors sold in Gainesville must have been tested to withstand up to 130 mph winds. A permit must be pulled in order to install a garage door, and a final inspection be performed by a local building official. Lester's Garage Doors is licensed, and is qualified to pull the permit and install hurricane garage doors.

Note: Overhead doors installed in the Gainesville area prior to 2002 do not meet wind standards and should be replaced to update the safety of your home.
