About Us
Lester's Garage Doors was founded in 1969 by Don Lester, with the help of a local builder and by the grace of God. Don established the business on God's golden rule, “to treat people as you would like to be treated.” He taught his employees that “the customer is always right."
When Don retired in 1994, he passed the business on to his children, who had been working alongside him for many years. Lester's Garage Doors is now owned and operated by his son, Richard Lester, and his son-in law and daughter, Ed and Janet Hoeft. They maintain the same principles that Don instilled in them.
In 2005, Ed Hoeft obtained a Building Contractor's License #CBC1251673, in compliance with the new hurricane codes in Florida. Lester's Garage Doors is fully licensed and insured, and remains an industry leader.
